NE Game & Parks Boating Safety Officer Scott Eveland joins us to talk about all things boating, jet-skiing, laking, rivering, and more. We are also joined by Kerri Anderson with Adams Bank and Ruschelle Dehning with Camp Tikeewha talk about the Angel Store and the current toy drive and bake sale to benefit the Angel Store.

Scott Eveland gets paid to traverse the waters of Lake McConaughy, the North Platte River, Lake Ogallala and other bodies of water in the area - he's a Boating Safety Officer with the Nebraska Game and Parks.  This morning, Scott talked about a number of things - boating safety class requirements that kick in in 2012, general boating safety, where the good spots are to drop a boat at Lake McConaughy, what to keep in mind if you plan on kayaking/canoing/tubing the area's rivers, and more.  Scott's a wealth of information and we were pleased to have him on the show with us this morning.

Kerri Anderson with Adams Bank and Trust in Ogallala was on to talk about the bank's toy drive for the Angel Store this year during Christmas in July.  Each year, The Angle Store collects toys for children that may not otherwise get toys for Christmas.  The program has helped hundreds of children.  Adams Bank & Trust is having a toy drive to stock this year's Angel Store, in conjunction with the Christmas in July promotion happening this Friday and Saturday (7/22 & 7/23) in Ogallala.

Ruschelle Dehning, owner of Camp Tikeewha in Ogallala, has been having her group of kids (5+) hit the kitchen, baking up goodies to sell to raise money for the Angel Store.  Two of the Camp Tikeewha girls, Tori and Lexi, were on the show to talk about their experience with the baking, the selling, and being part of the community.  The bake sale is happening in front of Flowers by Mike in downtown Ogallala today (7/21) from 12:30 - 2.
