LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Lincoln man has received a nearly 6-year prison sentence for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

The office of U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg (gihlj) announced Monday that 25-year-old Oscar Arturo Gonzalez Flores was sentenced last week. Gonzalez Flores must also serve five years of supervised police, and he was ordered to forfeit $190 in cash.

Authorities say they found more than 700 grams of a substance that contained methamphetamine during a search of his Lincoln home. Gonzalez Flores reportedly told officers that he had been selling methamphetamine for approximately a month before authorities executed the warrant.
