LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A woman has been given a year of probation for using another person's Social Security number to get a job in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports (http://bit.ly/WO275R ) that 44-year-old Hercilia Rodas had made a plea deal with prosecutors. They lowered the charge to misdemeanor criminal impersonation from felony identity theft.

     Rodas was sentenced on Tuesday.

Court documents say Rodas paid $200 for a Social Security number and identification that she used in April 2009 to get the job.
