A 22-year-old Wymore woman charged with assaulting an officer and other crimes has been given four years of probation
BEATRICE, Neb. (AP) - A 22-year-old Wymore woman charged with assaulting an officer and other crimes has been given four years of probation.
The Beatrice Daily Sun (http://bit.ly/WFojnb) says Nicole Leseberg was sentenced on Wednesday in Gage County District Court.
Leseberg will serve two 24-month probation sentences for attempted assault of an officer, resisting arrest and two counts of criminal mischief. She'd pleaded no contest after prosecutors lowered the charges.
Deputies were called to a fight at a Blue Springs residence early on March 14 and were told by witnesses that Leseberg broke windows out of two vehicles.
Deputies say Leseberg resisted arrest, kicking one of the officers, and then damaged a patrol car with kicks after she was put in the back seat.
Leseberg must pay more than $1,800 in restitution.
