Police in York are searching for two men who reportedly robbed a hotel and front-desk worker at gunpoint

YORK, Neb. (AP) - Police in York are searching for two men who reportedly robbed a hotel and front-desk worker at gunpoint.

Investigators say the two men walked into the New Victorian Inn shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The York News-Times reports (http://bit.ly/UpvWfu ) that the two suspected robbers demanded a hotel room at a discounted rate. When the woman working the front desk refused, one of the men flashed a handgun and demanded money.

Police say the men got away with an undetermined amount of cash and some of the woman's personal items. They left in an unknown vehicle.

Police say neither man tried to disguise himself. The front desk worker was not harmed.
