Some economists claim that allowing the Bush-era tax cuts to expire and drastic, automatic budget cuts to go into effect next year would send the economy over a cliff, and into recession.
President Obama says he'll extend the tax cuts only if they remain in effect for those earning at least 250-Thousand a year.
