The brother of the convicted Unabomber says he understands the anguish of the suspect's mother who turned in her own son.

DENVER (AP) - Mindy Sigg called police on her 17-year-old son Austin Sigg, who is charged in the slaying of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway.

Jessica disappeared Oct. 5 after leaving her home to meet a friend to walk to school. Authorities found her remains five days later in a park.

David Kaczynski told the Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/cesr8kx) he knew that if he didn't act on his suspicions about his brother, Ted, more people could die.

David Kaczynski eventually tipped off the FBI, which led to his brother's arrest, conviction and life sentence in connection with domestic terrorist bombings that killed three people and injured 23 others over a 17-year span.
