The U.S. Department of Energy's Winter Fuel Outlook will be released on Wednesday, but one analyst says supplies look good.

Bruce McDowell is the Director of Policy Analysis at the American Gas Association and says they are looking at their own projections in advance of that report and says it is more than likely more natural gas will be used this year due to the weather.

Bruce McDowell:

McDowell says low domestic natural gas prices have led to savings of almost $250-billion for customers over the past three years. Regarding supplies, McDowell says underground storage reached record levels in November of 2011 for the third year in a row.
