Nebraska Groups Press to Address Global Climate Change

A number of Nebraska special-interest groups call for action to curb the affects of climate change.

The groups have come out in conjunction with the upcoming release of a study by the United States Global Change Research Program.

John Hansen of the Nebraska Farmers Union says the problem can no longer be ignored.

John Hansen: 

Climatologists at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln High Plains Climate Center report the upper plains region has seen its average temperature rise almost two-degrees in the past 115 years.
