A 64-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash about 20 miles outside of North Platte in western Nebraska.
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - The North Platte Telegraph reports (http://bit.ly/R7RADK) that the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Nebraska Highway 97.
Lincoln County Sheriff Jerome Kramer says William Dover, of North Platte, was driving south on his motorcycle when he lost control of it on a curve. The motorcycle ran into a ditch and flipped over.
Kramer says Dover was taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, where he was pronounced dead.
