SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) - Scottsbluff radio station KNEB reports (http://bit.ly/JoH9pE ) that a controlled burn jumped out of control on Thursday afternoon northwest of Morrill. Authorities say the flames reached a building and detonated ammunition stored inside.

A fire several miles north of Mitchell required responses from at least eight departments.
